Fair Trade ensures that these talented people are paid consistently fair wages which allows them the opportunity to educate their children, access healthcare and give back to their own communities. We believe there is simply no other way to do business!

Our aim is to provide products with integrity and collections that are truly unique. We wholesale and distribute our full range to retail stores in Australia and welcome new enquiries. We also sell our products online, but encourage people to view our list of stockists before taking this step.

While we do select items that are traditional to each region, we are actively involved in assisting artisans design items that are marketable in Australia. These artisans create their works using an array of cotton, silk, wool, natural dyes, jute, bamboo, recycled rubber and plastic and the end results are truly remarkable.

We are also proud to be the Queensland agent for Earth Greetings 100% earth-friendly cards and gift wrap.

The Dharma Door strives to support Fair Trade producer partners towards building sustainable solutions to poverty through trade. We will achieve this through ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions and human rights are met by those with whom we trade, and equally met by our company. The Dharma Door is committed to the rights of marginalised artisans, particularly women, and aims to assist producer partners to access skills training, education, healthcare and community development as a means of improving their livelihoods with dignity. We are equally committed to our environmental policy by sourcing products and conducting business in a way that respects the environment.
